About/Personal Statement

I am a December graduate within the B.Arch Program at the University of Tennessee with a passion for urban connectivity, accessibility, sustainable design, and speculative futures.

My focus is on making cities more efficient, inclusive, and forward-thinking through architecture. I currently work on the Fabrication and Spaces Team at the College of Architecture and Design where I develop my design and material exploration skills by working with faculty and students to create a more accesible and better space. I was also working as a research assistant with Professor Mark Stanley, exploring speculative futures in Oak Ridge and beyond.

My experience includes working with the Civic Design Center in Nashville, using GIS software for urban analysis, and researching speculative futures across various landscapes. Additionally, I have honed my skills in digital and physical modeling, from fabrication techniques to immersive rendering. My coursework in urban planning and integrative systems has provided hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and civic architecture.

Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Enscape, Unreal Engine, and Blender enables me to approach design challenges with both creativity and precision. Through my research opportunities and hands-on work in the building, I have been able to strengthen my collaboration and problem-solving skills and am eager to contribute my knowledge and creativity to shaping the future of the built environment in any capacity.
